Doreen Kennedy is a photographer, designer and filmmaker. She lives in Dublin, Ireland.
Her photography projects and art installations have been exhibited at the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin; Art in Odd Places, New York; The Courthouse Arts Centre, Wicklow, University of Atypical Gallery, The Belfast Photo Festival; The Kenny Gallery, Galway; Bank of Ireland Arts Centre, Dublin; The Electric Picnic Festival, Co Laois; Flat Lake Literary Arts Festival, Co Monaghan and The Olympia Theatre, Dublin.
Her debut film as a Director/Writer ‘Grace Alone’ was selected for the Catalyst International Film festival 2020 and Irish Film Festival Boston 2021. She is currently in production with her second film Kite.
Recent publications include a series of cinema portraits in Women in Film and photography for the book and cds Temple Hill Burial Ground. She is a contributing artist (in sound and photography) to the sound art project A Sound Map of Dun Laoghaire. She is founder of the photography agency NoPhotography.
