Doreen Kennedy is a visual artist working with photography, design and film. She lives and works in Dublin, Ireland. Her photography has been exhibited at the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin; Art in Odd Places, New York; Ratamo Gallery, Jyväskylä, Finland; The Courthouse Arts Centre, Wicklow, The Belfast Photo Festival; The Kenny Gallery, Galway; The Electric Picnic Festival, Co Laois; Flat Lake Literary Arts Festival, Co Monaghan and The Olympia Theatre, Dublin.
Her portraits documenting the Cannes Film Festival, Venice Film Festival and Berlinale Film Festival have been published widely across international press.
Recent publications include Time Perspectives, a series of cinema portraits in Women in Film and photography for the book and cds Temple Hill Burial Ground. She was a contributing artist (in sound and photography) to the sound art project A Sound Map of Dun Laoghaire.
